Joe Kenneth Wyatt, 72, of Mt. Carbon, WV formerly of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Joe Kenneth Wyatt, 72, of Mt. Carbon, WV formerly of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at his home.

He was born on October 4, 1939 in Madisonville KY to the late Fred Ernest Wyatt and Verna Mae Wyatt. He was a veteran of the National Guard. He was retired as a coal miner and was a member of the United Mine Workers Association.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Rance Wyatt.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Virginia Taylor Wyatt; his daughter, Johelen Locklear of Renter, NC; three sons, Patrick Ernest Wyatt of Madisonville, Matthew Wayne Wyatt of Washington and Mike Wyatt of Madisonville; sisters, Freddie and Tina Wyatt both of Madisonville; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Elton Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Anton, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.
