Paducah Man Arrested on Murder Charges

arrest russianPADUCAH, KY (7/2/12) – On Sunday, July 1, 2012, 36-year-old Michael C. Russian was arrested by the Paducah Police Department, on charges of Murder and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

According to Police officials, the Paducah Police Department was called at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, when somebody saw a man pushing a shopping cart with a body in it in the area of 6th Street and Burnett Street

Officers discovered Russian trying to dispose the body of 25-year-old Adam L. Bullock. Police Officials believe that Russian had kept Bullocks body in a storage unit behind his apartment in Anderson Court until he decided to get rid of the body early Sunday morning.

Det. Sgt. Brian Laird said Russian and Bullock were involved in some kind of altercation around 4 a.m. Friday at Russian's home. That’s when they believe Bullock was killed.

An autopsy is being done today in Louisville to determine the cause of death. Russian was booked and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail. His bail is currently set at $1,000,000 and his court date has been set for July 21, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.
