HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Anthony Wade Crook, 47, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at home with family and friends.

He was born July 12, 1965 to Dortha Jones Crook and the late James “Bud” Crook.

Wade was a manger for Midwest Battery & Supply; was a member of Suthards Missionary Baptist Church; loved hunting, fishing, gardening, NASCAR, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife of fourteen years, Diane; one step-daughter, Tiffany (Matt) Brown of White Plains, KY; two sons, Brandon Crook of Madisonville, KY and Bryan (Nicole) Crook of Ft. Benning, GA; three sisters, Charlotte (Kenny) Rowland of Madisonville and Scarlett (Jimmy) Tapp of Robards, and Robin (Bruce) Knight of Henderson, KY; four brothers, Craig (Reba) Crook of Madisonville, Rafe (Cindy) Crook of Madisonville; Tommy (Earlene) Densmore and David (Shelia) Densmore of Dawson Springs; three grandchildren, Ryan Crook of Madisonville, Brayden and Caleb Crook both of Ft. Benning, GA; three step-grandchildren, Collin, Miley, and Easton Brown all of White Plains, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. George Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in New Suthard Cemetery, Earlington, KY.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 11:00 A.M. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be sons and brothers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryan Crook, Brayden Crook, Caleb Crook, Jerry Appleby, Henry Corn, Lonnie Frederick, Mark Winstead, and Monty Green.
