Frank Klabis, 87 of Warren, MI and formerly of Hanson, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Frank Klabis, 87 of Warren, MI and formerly of Hanson, KY passed away at 3:32 PM Friday October 5, 2012 at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI.

He was born in Dubois, PA on November 30, 1924 to the late Roman and Victoria (Balukonis) Klabis.

He was a retired equipment operator and member of Operating Engineers Local 324 in Detroit.. He was also a WWII Navy veteran, Member of Hanson Masonic Lodge and a Shriner.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his wife; Mae (Ashby) Klabis of Warren, MI; Daughter; Detta and husband Brandon Oliver of Shelby Township, MI; Son; Kenneth and wife (Jeri) Klabis of Allen Park, MI; 4 grandchildren; Jamieson Oliver, Jeremiah Klabis, Jenifer Klabis and Robert Klabis; 3 great grandchildren; Alison and Jacob Oliver and Jonathon Klabis; Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday October 10th at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel. Pastor William Moore will officiate.

Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery in Hanson, KY.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
