Joseph E. Whitehouse, 74, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Joseph E. Whitehouse, 74, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 2:10 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2012 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on January 29, 1938 in Louisville, KY to the late Clifford Logan Whitehouse and Olivia Mae Hall Whitehouse. He was a United States Navy Veteran and was retired as an assistant manager with Walgreens where he worked for over forty-eight years. He was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Whitehouse; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his sister, Cecilia (Don) Gray of Lewis, TX; four brothers, Donald L. (Donna) Whitehouse of Madisonville, KY, Ronald L. (Rebeca) Whitehouse of Plainfield, IN, Cecil Farmer, Jr. of Carlisle, KY and Raymond (Marlene) Farmer of Crofton, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Nathan Bruce officiating. Burial to be held at a later date.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.
