DUE TO HEAVY SNOWS IN WESTERN KENTUCKY...WIDESPREAD 6 TO 12 INCH SNOWFALL AMOUNTS HAVE HAULTED AREA TRAVEL. ISOLATED 15 INCH AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED. HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - passed away at his residence on January 5, 2013.

He was born May 21, 1931 in Tell City, IN to the late Jack and Audrey Strahl. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde and Albert Strahl and an infant daughter, Cindy Strahl, and one sister, Mary Etta Strahl.

Mr. Strahl loved clocks and loved to collect them. He was a self employed auto body repairman. He was a Jehovah's Witness.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eula Mae Strahl; his three children, Audrey (Richard) Carman, Denise (Terry) Morris, and Doug (Karen) Strahl; eleven beloved grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren that were the light of his life. He is survived by three brothers, Jack Strahl of Madisonville, Leroy Strahl of Evansville, IN, and Glen Strahl of Evansville, IN, along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Darren Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Nebo Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday and 11:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will Brian Morris, Matthew Morris, Jody Morris, Douglas Koon, Albert Carman, Jorge Herrera-Ruedas, and Aaron Alonzo.

Memorial donations may be made to Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
