Agnes S. Haskins, age 97, of Hopkinsville, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY

DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. - Agnes S. Haskins, age 97, of Hopkinsville, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Christian Health Community Nursing Facility in Hopkinsville, KY. She was born in Dawson Springs, KY on April 16, 1915 to the late James Shoemaker and Maude Agnes Hooper Shoemaker. She worked for many years and retired with the Hopkinsville Shoe Factory and she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her best friend~ Kathleen Barnes of Hopkinsville, KY, two nieces and many cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Burnis Haskins (1970).

Funeral services will be held for Agnes S. Haskins on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Visitation for Mrs. Haskins will be from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 11:00 A.M. at the Beshear Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Union Temple Cemetery near St. Charles, KY.

Pallbearers will include: Tim Barnes, Leon DePalma, and Ricky DePalma.
