Aileen Finley Oates Bennett, 93 of Madisonville, Ky

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky - Aileen Finley Oates Bennett, 93 of Madisonville, Ky. died Thursday morning January 24, 2013 at 4:31 a.m. in Baptist Health System Madisonville, Ky. Aileen was born August 9, 1919 in Muhlenberg  County the last of 9 children of Alexander Young “A.Y.” Finley and Issie Ann Allen Finley.  She was a Registered Nurse working as Surgery Supervisor at Madisonville Hospital and she taught Nursing at the Tech. School.  She was a member of Roland Memorial Baptist Church in Greenville and was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Gaylus Franklin Oates in 1963  and 2nd husband Lester Bennett.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning January 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky. by Rev. Danny Moooneyhan with burial to follow in Concord Cemetery White Plains, Ky.

She is survived by
Son Mike (Shirley) Oates of Madisonville, Ky.
3 grandchildren Jennifer Smith, Tammy (Brian) Bowles, Natalie (Mitchell) Lutz
7 great-grandchildren Madison, Conner, Callie, Mallory, Presley, Riley and Jett

Friends may call  Friday January 25, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8: 00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky. and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday until Funeral Time.
