Callie M. Sisk, 95, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Callie M. Sisk, 95, of Madisonville, KY, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville.

She was born August 22, 1917 in Edmonton, Metcalfe Co., KY to the late Henry Louis and Marthe Elizabeth Clemons Spradlin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Otho Ray Sisk; six brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Sisk was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church in Madisonville. Where she attended The Gleaners Sunday School Class.

She is survived by two daughters, Laney Haywood of Georgetown. KY and Darlene (Jim) Holman of Portage, IN; two sons, Sonny (Lana) Jordan of Madisonville and Dwight (Judy) Jordan of Beechmont, KY; one brother, Henry Levi Spradlin of Glasgow, KY; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five step children and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 28, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hendricks and Rev. Greg Gaddis officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday and after 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandson-in-law; Heath Jordan, Marty Jordan, Ed Miller, Michael Miller, Matthew Haywood and Mark Rodgers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Bible Society at P.O. Box 96812, Washington D.C. 20090-6812.
