Cora Kathern Osborn, 82 of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Cora Kathern Osborn, 82 of Madisonville, KY, passed away, Monday, February 11, 2013 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN.

She was born November 2, 1930 to the late Nealy Gipson and Media Mae Ferris Gipson.

Mrs. Gipson was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Madisonville. She enjoyed working her yard and bird watching. She also liked being outside sitting on her porch and enjoyed watching Joyce Meyers on T.V.

She is survived by three daughters, Pat Osborn of Harrodsburg, KY; Terri (Doug) Peters of Madisonville; and Sandra (James) Anthony Refice of Madisonville; two sons, Walter (Cheryl) Osborn of Conesville, OH and Rod Osborn of Madisonville; one sister, Brenda Gipson of Madisonville; two brothers, Jerry Gipson of Nashville, TN and Clinton Gipson of Manitou, KY; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Concord Cemetery in Manitou with Rev. Lynn Young officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopkins County Food Bank. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
