Norma Jean Gatlin, 65, of Madisonville, KY

MADISONVILLE, KY - Norma Jean Gatlin, 65, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Baptist Healthcare in Madisonville.

She was born February 18, 1948 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Irvin Cates and Donia Hawkins.

Mrs. Gatlin was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and friends, and she loved her dog, Molly.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard; two sons, Richard Gatlin Jr. of Madisonville and Jeff (Heather) Gatlin of White Plains, KY; three sisters, Gail Galloway of Mortons Gap, KY, Evelyn Rickard of Madisonville, and Etta Williams of Hanson, KY; two granddaughters, Maryssa Brooke Gatlin and Ashley Nicole Miller; and one great granddaughter, Nevaeh Grace Miller.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 27th, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Rolley officiating. Burial will follow at Grapevine Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:30 A.M. until the service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
