HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Helen J. Williams, 82, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 4:16 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Baptist Health Madisonville.
She was born on April 19, 1930 in Madisonville to the late Myrtle and Lether Alexander. She was a bus driver for the Hopkins County School System for over 18 years serving the Grapevine area. She was a member of Abundant Grace Fellowship. She enjoyed being outdoors, planting flowers and working in the garden.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Thomason; her brother, Johnny Alexander; and her grandson, Barry Thomason.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Hubert Williams; daughters, Vivian Oates and Debbie (Tony) Bearden all of Madisonville; grandson, Anthony (Tricia) Bearden of Madisonville; granddaughters, Tammy (Mark) Dickerson of Madisonville, Stacey (Robert) Schindley of Clay, KY, Jennifer Smith and Natalie (Mitchell) Lutz all of Madisonville; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Abundant Grace Fellowship (located next to MultiCare) with Bro. Phil Sullivan officiating. Burial to follow in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at Abundant Grace Fellowship.
Pallbearers will be Tony Bearden, Anthony Bearden, Mitchell Lutz, Mark Dickerson, Robert Schindley and Rhyan Dickerson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Abundant Grace Fellowship Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church.
