Donnie Wayne Belt, 65, of Madisonville, KY

 

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Donnie Wayne Belt, 65, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home.

He was born December 10, 1947 in Hopkins County, KY, to the late William Bennett Belt and the late Lillie Mable Hughes Belt. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Kirk and Doug Belt and two sisters, Barbara Fox and Joyce McDowell.

He is survived by two sons, D.C. (Nicky) Belt of White Plains, KY and Jeff (Penny) Belt of Madisonville; one sister, Shirley (Mark) Harris of Slaughters, KY; four grandchildren, Travis and Brandon Belt of Madisonville and Skylar and Reese Belt of White Plains and two great grandchildren, Kaylee and Bryce Belt of Madisonville.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday and from noon until service time on Monday funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Travis Belt, Brandon Belt, Mike Dame, Randy Curneal and D.C Belt. Honorary pallbearer will be Andy Crawford.

The family would like to thank Baptist Health Hospice and the nurses and caregivers at Ridgewood Terrace.
