Norris Allen Adams, age 59, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Norris Allen Adams age 59, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY. He was born in Hopkins County, KY on May 21, 1953 to the late Jewel Martin Adams and Edna E. Stoddard Adams. Mr. Adams worked for seventeen years at Birmingham Bolt in Madisonville. He was a member of the Lafayette Baptist Church. Mr. Adams loved his family and he loved farming and gardening.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty years~ Myrtle Ladd Adams, Dawson Springs, a daughter~ Angel (Jeff) Embry, Dawson Springs, two sons~ Norris Lee (Karen) Adams and Allen (Sarah) Adams both of Dawson Springs, two brothers~ Jewel W. Adams and Norman (Sissy) Adams of Dawson Springs and eight grandchildren~ Brooklyn, Nicole, Austin, Kendall, and Haley Adams, and James, Jacob and Adam Embry.

Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his parents and two half sisters~ Garnetta Parker and Mary Adams.

Funeral services for Norris Allen Adams will be conducted by Rev. Roger Felker on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs. Friends may call at his visitation beginning on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetery.
