John William White, 71, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - John William White, 71, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 7:41 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at his residence following a long illness.

A native of Crofton, KY he was born April 25, 1941 the son of the late Leonard and Elva White. He was a retired truck driver.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin sister: Evelyn Phillips; his brother: Robert “Bob” White; and his sister: Lillian Robinson.

Survivors include his wife: Inez White; his sons: Chris White and Randy Benton both of Hanson; his brother: Clifford White (Helen) of Crofton, KY; his sisters: Dee Hurlburt (Kit) of Crofton, KY and Shirley Hunt and Wanda Austin both of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren: Kenny Benton White, Robbie Benton White, Tyler White, and Canaan White; and his mother – in – law: Gladys Parker.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Crofton with the Rev. Andy Corbin officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgetop Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Crofton.

Pallbearers will be Casey Caskey, Curtis Parker, David Parker, Jerry Corbin, Randy Benton, and Josh Browning. The honorary pallbearer will be Larry Buntin.
