HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Mary Jane Barnes Whitehair, 68 of Nortonville, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the Baptist Health Center, Madisonville. Born February 24, 1945 in Hopkins Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Mabel (Matheny) Barnes. She was a ward clerk in the endoscopy department for 30 years at Regional Medical Center, Madisonville.

She is survived by three sons: Kevin (Robyn) Barnes, Troy (Lita) Whitehair , and Shawn Whitehair all of Nortonville, KY; one sister, Ethel Harvey of Nortonville; grandchildren, Christian & Eryn Barnes, Avery Whitehair; step grandchildren, Kara Payne, Shane & Sara Fox; and step great grandchildren, Aubri & Jackson Payne.

Predeceased by her husband, Herbert Whitehair, and brother, Stanley Barnes.

Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Bandy Funeral Home, Nortonville with Bro. Eddie Knowles officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. and 9.am.until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be Saturday in New Salem Cemetery, Nortonville.
