HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Allison Diane Bates Patterson, 37, of Henderson, KY, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.

She was born February 16, 1976 in Madisonville, KY to William (Linda) Bates Sr. of Dawson Springs, KY and LaDonna (James) Adams of Madisonville.

She is survived by her fiancé and caregiver, James Briggs, her parents, five children, Chelsea Bates-Adams of Madisonville, Emily and Matthew Haynes both of Nortonville, KY, and Faith and Harold Hogg both of Owensboro, KY; two grandchildren, Colin L. Woolfork III and Caelin L. Woolfork both of Madisonville; two brothers, William Bates Jr. and Christopher Bates both of Madisonville; and one sister, Sandra Brown of Madisonville.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Madisonville.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday and after 12:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bates, Jake Anderson, Joseph Wallace, Frank Wallace, Dan Wallace, Damien Morris, Josh Howton and Colin Woolfork Jr. Her grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
