Carrold Thomas Henley, 84, of Madisonville, Ky

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Carrold Thomas Henley, 84, of Madisonville, Ky passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY.

He was born on June 8, 1928 in Providence to the late John "Archie" Henley and Gertrude Oliver Henley. He was a United States Army and Air Force Veteran. He served in WWII and during the Korean War. He was a retired business man owning and operating several businesses over the years. He was a member of American Legion Post 6 and VFW 5480. He attended Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Mae Embrey Henley; four brothers, Marshall Henley, M.C. Henley, Harold Henley and Wayne E. Henley; and two infant sisters.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Kenneth Blevins officiating. Burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville. Military honors will be conducted graveside by 101st Airborne Division Ft. Campbell, KY and Hopkins County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at Harris Funeral Home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Maurice K. Gordon American Legion Post 6 in Madisonville, KY.
