HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Michael Armstrong, 67, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Wednesday March 20, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

He was born in Madisonville, KY to the late John B. Armstrong and Earle Corum Armstrong Young. He was also preceded in death by his brother John Earl Armstrong.

Mr. Armstrong is a KY Colonel, avid UK fan, member of the Madisonville Masonic Lodge #143, Shriner at the Rizpah Temple and loved to play golf.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Cheryl of Madisonville; one son, Craig (Amy) Armstrong of Brentwood TN, his daughter, Ambre Armstrong of Lexington, KY two grandchildren Kyle and Rylie Armstrong of Brentwood, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 23, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow in the West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson, KY.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
