John Willis Adcock, age 77

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - John Willis Adcock, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his residence in Dawson Springs, KY. He was born in Hopkins County, KY on July 12, 1935 to the late Robert Morgan Adcock and Bessie Louise Barton Adcock. Mr. Adcock worked with Madisonville Tire and Retread for 19 years before retiring. He was a faithful member of the Landmark Apostolic Church in Dawson Springs, KY

Mr. Adcock is survived by his loving wife of 56 years~ Noretta Butler Adcock, Dawson Springs, a daughter~ Pamela Kaye Adcock Gray, Dawson Springs, and a son and daughter-in-law~ Johnny (Lana Lynn) Adcock, Dawson Springs, and two grandchildren~ Mark Adcock and Ashley Adcock.

Mr. Adcock is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters~ Gertie Inglis, Helen Orten, and Juanita Garrett, and two brothers~ Robert Adcock, Jr. and Arnold Wayne Adcock.

Funeral services for John Willis Adcock will be conducted by the Revs. Rusty Akers, Robert Akers, and Jimmy Laffoon on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs. Friends may call at his visitation beginning on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour, 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetery.
