Mary Evelyn Stoltz, 82, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Mary Evelyn Stoltz, 82, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

She was born May 23, 1930 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Gardner Moore and Tommie Powell Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Stoltz in 2006; two brothers, Hardin and David Moore and two sisters, Frances Hibbs and Bernice Moore.

Mrs. Stoltz was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Madisonville. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Madisonville. She graduated from Anton High School and she loved to cook, read and spend time with her grandkids.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan (Glenn) Parker of Oxford, MS; two sons, Steve (Barbara) Stoltz of Madisonville and Dan (Lisa) Stoltz of Madisonville; two sisters, Kathleen Dickerson of Madisonville and Ruth Conder of Evansville, IN and seven grandchildren, Kelley; Laura; Maggie; Hannah; Matthew Stoltz and Jacob and Katie Parker.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Lon Lorton officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Health Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
