accident glass 300GREENVILLE, Ky. (3/29/13) – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a single-vehicle, fatality collision that occurred on KY 181, approximately 1.4 miles south of Greenville, on Friday, March 29, 2013, at 3:00 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Warren K. Presley, 47 of Central City, KY, was operating a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse northbound on KY 181 when he lost control of the vehicle.  The vehicle exited the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a driveway.  It became airborne and after landing, struck an earth embankment.  The vehicle overturned and came to rest upright in a ditch.

Mr. Presley, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene by Muhlenberg County Deputy Coroner Larry Vincent.

Trooper Jerry Knight is conducting the investigation.  Trooper Curtis Crick, the Greenville Fire Department, Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife, Muhlenberg County EMS, and the Muhlenberg County Coroner's Office assisted at the scene.
