Louise M. Foe, 83 of St. Charles, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Louise M. Foe, 83 of St. Charles, KY passed away at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at her home.

She was born on August 1, 1929 in St. Charles to the late Carl N. Davis and Mayme Jennings Davis. She was retired as a teacher with the Hopkins County School System where she taught at St. Charles and Nortonville. She was formerly the Mayor of St. Charles and was a correspondent for Pennyrile Plus serving the St. Charles area. She was saved at Christian Privilege Church and then in later years became a member of Lake Grove General Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Karen Rae Foe and her sister, Elaine Poe.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Drennan of St. Charles; her son, Neil (Sherry) Foe, Sr. of Crofton, KY; her sister, Maxine Davis Smith of Madisonville, KY; her brother-in-law, Ruby W. Poe of St. Charles; grandsons, Jerry Pollard, Aaron Huddleston, Neil Foe, Jr. and Daniel Ray Foe; two step-grandsons, Brandon Brewer and Brad Brewer; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. George Brooks and Bro. Brad Tucker officiating. Burial to follow in Ilsley Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Huddleston, Neil Foe, Jr., Daniel Foe, Ray Purdy, Kevin Cotton and Brad Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Pollard, Ruby Poe, Bud Knight, Randy Poe and Wendell Jones.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
