Patricia A. Eaves, 68, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Patricia A. Eaves, 68, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

She was born September 28, 1944 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late James Monroe Johnson and Lora Mae Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Volney Johnson.

Mrs. Eaves was a seamstress at Ottenheimer in Dawson Springs, KY. She was a member of the Star Hope Church in Providence, KY. She also worked at Carhartt in Madisonville. She enjoyed doing art paintings and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Eaves of Madisonville; two daughters, Connie Phelps of Madisonville and Twilla (Eddie) Phelps of Madisonville; two sons, James (Lydia) Eaves of Richmond, KY and Mark Eaves of Dawson Springs; one sister, Joyce (James) Travis of Providence; two brothers, John Monroe Johnson and Gary Johnson both of Providence; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Taylor Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery in Hanson.

Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
