Maymie was a sweet devoted daughter born on February 7, 1917 to the late Theodore and Ethel Dora Hicks. She was a friend to all and loved her Lord and Savior and worshiped in prayer every day.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Hershal Durham; second husband, Willard Peach; third husband, Forrest Clayton; brothers, Arnold Hicks and Chester Hicks; sisters, Connie Hicks and Ovelia Brooks; and her grandson, Tom Brasher.

She is survived by daughters, Joye Brown of Madisonville, Martha Brasher of Crofton, KY and Charlotte Gamblin of Madisonville; nineteen grandchildren; caregivers and grandchildren, Angie Sosh and Stacey Kutella; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville with Bro. Darrell Menser officiating. Burial to follow. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
