HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Berniece Krueger, 80, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at her residence.
She was born April 2, 1933 in Boyleston, IL to the late James Day and Lena Mae Day. She was also preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Mrs. Krueger was a member of the Earlington First Baptist Church where she taught the children's Sunday school class. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and taking them fishing.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Chester Krueger of Madisonville; one daughter, Karen (John) Sneed of Madisonville; one son, Kent Krueger of Madisonville; six sisters, Gladys Eifert of Missouri; Joanne Deweese of Indiana, Joyce Rose of Indiana; Linda Reysz of Indiana; Sharon Oakley of Indiana and Wanda Frasier of Tennessee; two brothers, Austin Day of Illinois and Carroll Day of California; two grandsons, Brandon (Deann) Sneed and Travis (Lyndi) Sneed; two great grandsons, Kyler and Konner Sneed and one great granddaughter, Logan Sneed.
Funeral service will be 3:30 P.M. Monday, April 8, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Matthew Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Old Salem Cemetery in Mortons Gap.
Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Sneed, Travis Sneed, Brett Sizemore, Danny Knott, Brian Ruffin and Les Stevens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Earlington First Baptist Church Building Fund or Baptist Health Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
