Charles Michael (Pete) Eli, age 65, of Dawson Springs, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Charles Michael (Pete) Eli, age 65, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Eli was born December 13, 1947 in Christian County, KY to the late Lorene and Bertha Jones Eli. Mr. Eli worked for General Electric from 1970 to 1999 and also served his country in the United States Air Force Reserves. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Eli is survived by his wife ~ Shirley Fields Eli of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter ~ Stephanie Bennett of Dawson Springs, KY; a brother ~ John Robert Eli of Evansville, IN; and one grandson ~ Stephen Bennett of Dawson Springs, KY.

Preceding Mr. Eli in death were his parents and a daughter Carol Michelle Eli (departed 12/8/2005).

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 24, 2013, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY with Bro. Ed Payne officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Fields, Dennie Carner, Darrell Davis, Rickie Fields, Jason Edwards and Jeremy Gordon. Curly Fields is Honorary Pallbearer.
