Dorothy Mae Masoncup, 74, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Dorothy Mae Masoncup, 74, of Madisonville, KY passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2013 at Specialty Select Hospital in Evansville, IN.

She was born September 29, 1938 in Trigg Co., KY to the late James Sammy Shaw and Zelphia Pearl Garland Shaw. She was also preceded in death by her husband Elvis Ray Masoncup and two sisters, Nettie Jean Shaw and Mamie Pearl Adams.

Mrs. Masoncup was of the Pentecostal Faith and attended Madisonville Holiness Church.

She is survived by four sons, Danny Ray Masoncup of Hanson, Jodie (Barbara) Masoncup of White Plains, KY; Michael Wayne (Sue) Masoncup of Madisonville and Richard Tommy Masoncup of Madisonville; two brothers, Glenn Wade Shaw of Hanson and Leroy Shaw of Madisonville; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday May 6, 2013 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Spears officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Monday after 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
