United Way Needs Your Assistance

united way 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (5/9/13) – The United Way of the Coalfield has announced the Day of Caring Event and is seeking community projects.
 
Area non-profit organizations are requested to submit project applications by May 31, 2013. Projects are typically those such as landscaping, painting, and other simple projects that can be completed in a single day.
 
For this year’s Day of Caring Event United Way officials have stated that they are focusing again on Non-Profit organization projects and also on projects to assist the City in further beautician for America in Bloom.
 
To obtain a project application package please contact the United Way of the Coalfield at their office by calling 270-821-3170 or e-mailing Chip Tate at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
 
When you have completed your project application, fax to 270-821-3175 or mail to the United Way office at P.O. Box 366, Madisonville, KY 42431.
 
The United Way is also looking for individuals and teams of volunteers. If you or your business would like to be involved in the Day of Caring or for more information please call the United Way office at 270-821-3170.
 
This year’s Day of Caring Event is scheduled for June 14, 2013.
