Anthony Raymond (Tony) May, age 57, of Dawson Springs, KY and formerly of Owensboro, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Anthony Raymond (Tony) May, age 57, of Dawson Springs, KY and formerly of Owensboro, KY passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mr. May was born March 1, 1956 in Daviess County, KY to the late Silvester Joseph May, Sr. & Agnes Marie Shivley May. Mr. May was a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School and was employed by the City of Dawson Springs. Previously he had worked for twenty years with the Steel Mill in Owensboro, and later he worked with Buckhorn Plastic Manufacturing in Dawson Springs. He was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Dawson Springs, KY.

Mr. May is survived by a daughter ~ Rachel May Frazer of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons ~ Anthony Owen May of the United States Navy stationed in Japan & Matthew Joseph May of Benton, KY; two sisters ~ Mary Jo Anthony of Panama City, FL & Wanda May of Owensboro, KY; two brothers ~ Bobby May of Tampa, FL & Louie May of Owensboro, KY; and a grandson ~ Ethan Frazer.

Preceding Mr. May in death were his parents.

A funeral mass will be held for Mr. May on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Owensboro, KY with Father Brad Whistle presiding. A visitation will be held for Mr. May on Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Burial will follow his funeral mass at St. Mary's Cemetery, Whitesville, KY.

Pallbearers will include Matthew Joseph May, Anthony Owen May, Bobby May, Louie May, Adam Basham, Josh Basham, Ethan Frazer and Joseph Loney.
