Vickie Lynn Geary, 54, of Madisonville, KY

 

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Vickie Lynn Geary, 54, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at her residence.

She was born July 23, 1958 in Earlington, KY to Wanda Marvel Rogers and the late Robert Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Cleveland.

Mrs. Geary worked as a seamstress at Carhartt. She of the Pentecostal faith and loved to read.

She is survived by her husband, Roy "Tim" Harlan Geary; two daughters, Jamia (Sammy) Atkins of Madisonville and Victoria Messamore of Madisonville; one son, Brian Geary of Madisonville; two sisters, Karen (John) Boze of Earlington and Becky Rogers of Earlington; grandchildren, Brandon Messamore, Justin Messamore, Aurora Geary, Luna Geary, Jasmine Geary, and Gregory Atkins; several nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Stephanie Vannoy.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 24, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Spears officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Brian Geary, John Boze, Allen Atkins, Shane Rogers, Billy Jones and Danny Jones.
