Linda Faye Winstead, 64, of Madisonville, KY

3flowerHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Linda Faye Winstead, 64, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at her residence.

She was born April 23, 1949 in Madisonville to the late Burnice "Bill" Winstead and Ruth Haleman Winstead of Madisonville. She was also preceded in death by a nephew, John Ross Bratcher.

Ms. Winstead was an educator with the Hopkins County School system and Madisonville Community College. She was a member of Richland Missionary Baptist Church, the Retired Teachers Association and a former member of the Hopkins County Library Board.

She is survived by her mother, two sisters, Donna Winstead of Madisonville and Judy Noe of Berea, KY; a niece, Lee Anne Coy of Mt. Vernon, KY; two nephews, Todd Bratcher of Lexington, KY and Wesley (Melanie) Bratcher of Danville, KY; a great niece, Lilly Bratcher of Mt. Vernon; and three great nephews, Colton Bratcher of Lexington, Cameron Coy of Mt. Vernon and Banks Bratcher of Danville and several aunts and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday July 1, 2013 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville with Bro. Jim Lantrip officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Richland Missionary Baptist Church and Todd Bratcher, Wesley Bratcher and Turner Vaughn.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hopkins County Relay for Life, Baptist Health Hospice of Madisonville or the Alzheimer's Association.
