HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Jacquelyn Oestreicher, 83, of Louisville, KY formerly of Madisonville, KY, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at Atria Stony Brook in Louisville.

She was born July 4, 1930 in Evansville, IN to the late Edward Pfafflin and Elizabeth Haynie Pfafflin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Oestreicher, a brother, Edward Pfafflin, and a granddaughter, Emily Hencke.

Mrs. Oestreicher was a member of Madisonville First Presbyterian Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, Past President & Treasurer of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, past Trustee of the Hopkins County Library Board and a volunteer at RMC.

She is survived by two daughters, Susie (Brad) Jackson of Louisville and Gail (Roger) Hencke of St. Louis, MO; one sister, JoAnne Hauck of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren, Ryan Sills and Matt (Laurie) Sills of Louisville and Allie Hencke of St. Louis; two great grandchildren, Abbie and Jackson Sills of Louisville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 12, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Lon Lorton officiating. Entombment will follow in Madisonville Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday and after 9:00 A.M. Friday until the service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Madisonville First Presbyterian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
