treesunHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Janice DeFay (Wester) Goodman, 57 of Madisonville, KY passed away at 10:54 AM Tuesday July 9, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

She was cashier at Marathon in Madisonville. She was born April 6, 1956 in Greenville, KY to the late Charles Wester and Dorothy (Faughender) Wester.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband Terry Goodman (2001), son Jeffery Goodman (2004), grandson Brice Woodward (1995), and brother, Michael Wester (1998)

She is survived by her Mother; Dorothy Wester of Madisonville, KY; 2 sons; J. J. Woodward and wife Valerie of Madisonville, KY, Avery Wester of Madisonville, KY; Daughter; Vona Shaffer and husband Chris of Lynchburg, VA; Grandson; Donavan; 4 sisters; Cathy Graham of Madisonville, KY, June Cannon of Lexington, KY, Phillis Drinkard of Madisonville, KY, Shirley Stephens of Madisonville, KY; 3 Brothers; William Wester, Jimmy Wester, Rodney Wester, All of Madisonville, KY; 7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday July 12, 2013 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY.

Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
