Body of Missing Union County Child Found

breakingnews update 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (7/16/13) – According to Kentucky State Police (KSP) officials, the body of 3-year-old Carter Nall has been located and recovered by investigators.
 
KSP states that the body was located in the Ohio River by search crews around 11:00 PM last night.
 
Nall was reported missing on Sunday around 5:30 PM. According to officials, he was last seen on a sand bar on the banks of the river between Caseyville and Dekoven. Parents had temporarily docked their boat there to stay awhile. Nall, who was wearing a life jacket, had removed the jacket while playing on the sand bank. He was last seen near the boat on the rivers’ edge.
 
An autopsy date is pending and the investigation is currently ongoing.
