sunrise1HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Jane Grant Owens, 83 of Nortonville, Ky passed away Sunday in the Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY. Born in Lewisport, KY, she was the daughter of the late Arlie Oakley and the late Enda Ruth (Sampley) Grant. She was a caring school teacher for 25 years, employed by Hopkins Co. Board Of Education, and a member of Nortonville Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice (Joe) Perkins of Nortonville, Rosann Owens of Dawson Springs and one son, David (Cindy) Owens of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Rosemary Perkins Free, Nathan Owens, Mara Owens Blanza, Stepanie Rayburn; and four great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her four brothers, and sister, Jackie Fox.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5-7 pm and Wednesday from 9am-11am at Bandy Funeral Home, Nortonville, KY. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Ben Butero officiating. Interment will be Wednesday in New Salem Cemetery, Nortonville.
