Bonnie Helen Phillips, 82, of Nortonville, KY

1cloudsHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Bonnie Helen Phillips, 82, of Nortonville, KY, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY.

She was born October 16, 1930 in Christian County to Floyd Adams and Jennie West Adams. She was preceded by her husband, Alfred LeRoy Phillips, one brother, and two sisters.

Mrs. Phillips was a member of Mannington Baptist church. She collected antique toys. She enjoyed doing yardwork, cooking for her family, attending auctions, and going to thriftstores.

She is survived by two sons, Richard (Lita) Phillips of Nortonville, and Randal (Teresa) Phillips of Louisville, KY; one sister, Nelda (Glen) Donley of Minnesota; one brother, Wayne (Joanne) Adams of Nortonville; four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at Rosebud Cemetery in Crittenden County.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Saturday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rosebud Cemetery Fund. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
