Kenneth Reynolds, 73, of Madisonville, KY

2cloudsHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Kenneth Reynolds, 73, of Madisonville, KY passed away Friday, August 23, 2013, at Baptist Health in Madisonville.

He was born August 12, 1940 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Edward Reynolds and Ruby Mullennix Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Reynolds; one sister, Mary Bandy; and one brother, James David Reynolds

Mr. Reynolds retired after 37 years from Bellsouth/AT&T. He was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge #143 F. & A.M. for 50 years. He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, Nascar, woodcarving, and his grandsons.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Reynolds of Madisonville; one daughter, Beth (Troy) Ledet of Madisonville; daughter-granddaughter, Ashley (Jonathon) Brumfield, of Madisonville; one brother, Ronald Reynolds of Madisonville; one grandson; Tyler Ledet; one great-grandson, Colton Brumfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 26, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Gaddis officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gary Oldham, Lyndle Vaughn, Willie Welch, JD Civils, Terry Smith, and Tim Griffey. Honorary pallbearers will be Ross Trevathan, Tommy Barnes, Mike Jacobs, and David Frymire.

Memorial contributions may be to Grapevine Baptist Church or Baptist Health Hospice. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
