Alma Lee Morse Pendley, 85, formerly of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Alma Morse Pendley, 85, of Greenwood Village, CO passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 at The Heritage Club in Greenwood Village. The world was a better place because of her and she will be greatly missed by both her family and friends.

She was born on June 10, 1928 to the late Thomas and Lillie Morse in Smiths Grove, KY and was raised in Madisonville, KY. She spent her professional career as a federal government employee in the Washington, D.C. area until retiring along with her husband Roy to their slice of paradise in Panama City Beach, FL.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Cassie Leisure and Ruby Ward; and her daughter in law, Debbie Pendley.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Roy Delbert Pendley; her sons, Ken (Debbie) Pendley and Lynn Pendley; her brother in law, Paul Pendley; her grandchildren, Trevor (Bill Stebbins) Pendley, Devin (Jamie) Pendley, Brad Pendley, Jennifer Pendley, Madison Pendley, Kyle Pendley; her great-grandchildren, Victoria Pendley and Samantha Pendley; a niece and a nephew; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside services will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery immediately following visitation on Thursday, September 5, 2013 with Bro. Jerry Brewer officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville.
