wreck truck1 300DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (9/10/13) – An Owensboro man was taken by ambulance to Owensboro Health following a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 60 at the intersection with Oakford Rd. in Daviess County Monday morning.
 
According to Kentucky State Police, David Hester, 27, and James Pate, 28, Owensboro, were both driving east on U.S. 60 when Hester apparently began to pass Pate near Oakford Rd. as Pate started to turn left onto Oakford Rd. Although, he did attempt to stop before the collision, Hester then struck the back of Pate’s 1989 Ford dump truck with his 2003 Ford Ranger, it was reported.
 
Authorities said Hester suffered injuries to his forehead as well as minor cuts. Pate wasn’t injured.
