Steve Michael Davis, 61, of Hanson, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Steve Michael Davis, 61, of Hanson, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born May 17, 1952 in Muhlenberg County to the late Gilbert Earl and Thelma Carroll Davis.

Mr. Davis was of the Pentecostal Faith, a member of the Central City Masonic Lodge #673, U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the UMWA, and he loved motorcycles.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Carrie Jones of Madisonville; two brothers, James (Susan K.) Davis of Madisonville and Gary Dewayne Davis of Hanson; one grandson, Jayden Thompson; one granddaughter, Baylei Whitsell; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 20, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Elieff officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday and after 12:00 PM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
