Dorris Hobgood, 74, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Dorris Hobgood, 74, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday October 9, 2013 at his home.

He was born December 1, 1938 in Webster County, KY to the late Raymond and Minnie Lee (Todd) Hobgood.

He was retired from Texas Gas. He was a member of Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church in Slaughters.

He is survived by his wife; Lois Ann Hobgood; Daughter; Julie Townsend and husband Scott of Dixon, KY; Grandson; Wade Parker

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel. Bro. Harry Baldwin and Bro. Steve Dame will officiate. Burial will be in Slaughters Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 11, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sat. from 10:00 a.m. until service.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Austin, Steve Austin, Paul Austin, Norris Vandygriff, Gary Vandygriff, Larry Pendergraff, Sonnie Forker, Billy Joe Parker,

Honorary Pallbearer will be Coy Vandygriff.

Memorial contributions can be made to Baptist Health Hospice, 418 N. Scott St. Madisonville, Ky 42431
