Nana Lou Powell, 92, of Madisonville, KY

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Nana Lou Powell, 92, of Madisonville, KY, formerly of St. Charles, KY passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville.

She was born March 4, 1921 in St. Charles to the late William ‘Bunyan' McGregor and Mona Florence McGregor.

Mrs. Powell was of the Baptist faith and in Eastern Star for 50 years.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James S. Powell and brother, Paul McGregor of Murray, KY.

She is survived by two daughters, Judith (Harold) Gregory of Hanson, KY and Jeanne Lou (Hollis) Clark of Murray; and four grandchildren, James Gregory, Ann Allison, Hollis Clark Jr., and Charles Lansden Clark and four great grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Christian Privilege Cemetery in St. Charles. Arrangements will be handled by Barnett-Strother.
