MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (11/6/13) - The Ebenezer Baptist Church of Drakesboro celebrated their 3rd Annual Hallowitness event on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 at the home of Jerry Winters located in the heart of the Beechmont community.

On this night, everyone in the county celebrated Halloween and approximately 1300 trick-or-treaters came through to enjoy grilled hotdogs, hamburgers, a bowl of steamy soup, and a drink. Local Gideons were very blessed with the opportunity to distribute over 470 New Testament Bibles to youngsters and adults. Sight & Sound, Wendell Miller, provided musical entertainment until after nightfall. The church also sponsored a Thanksgiving Turkey Give Away, which landed in the homes of seven lucky winners.

The Ebenezer Baptist Church would like to personally thank Jerry Winters for allowing the church to host this event at his home for the 3rd year in a row. We would also like to thank Wendell Miller and all of the helpers who were a big contribution to the success of this event. “To God be the glory, great things he has done!”
