nick palmer symphony 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (12/02/13) - The holiday concert of the Owensboro Symphony on December 15 at 3 pm at the RiverPark Center will be a real treat for both classical music lovers and football fans. Our soloist will Ben Utecht- former tight end of the Indianapolis Colts and a member of their Super Bowl team. Last year when we performed together in Indiana, he even brought his Super Bowl ring!

Ben has been singing all his life, but recently started performing with orchestras all over the United States. I guarantee you will enjoy him; he has a great voice and a very charismatic stage presence.

In addition to Ben, we will also feature the Sutton Singers, Newton Parish Singers, Owensboro Symphony Chorus and Owensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra. We will have many traditional and popular holiday favorites on the program including sing-a-long, Sleigh Ride, Twas the Night Before Christmas and Christmas Around the World. Ben will sing an original composition of his called Only in My Dreaming as well as O Holy Night, the First Noel and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

Please join us for this annual event that is guaranteed to get you in spirit of the holidays! For tickets call us at the Owensboro symphony at: 270-684-0661…see you at RiverPak!
