Thomas Agent, 78 of Providence, Ky

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Thomas Agent, 78 of Providence, Ky, passed away at 8:07 P.M. Friday December 13, 2013 at his residence.

He was born December 15, 1934 in Crittenden County, Ky to the late Claude Agent and Estelle Byford Agent. He was also preceded in death by two sons, two sisters and one grandson, Aaron Hollis.

Mr. Agent was a hunter, liked going to flea markets, antique shopping and being outdoors. He attended Enon General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Geraldine Miller Agent; five daughters, Glenda King of Russell Springs, Ky, Shelia, Linda and Tammy all of Indiana and Rene Hollis of Manitou, Ky; one son, Bruce Agent of Tennessee; two sisters, Shirley Hackney of Marion, Ky and Carolyn of California; one half sister, Faye Baker of Salem, Ky; two brothers, C.L. Agent of Madisonville and Jerry Agent of Marion; one half brother, Denny Harris of Salem; three step brothers, Denny Harris of Salem, Billy Wayne Harris and Robert Harris of Indiana; three step sisters, Viola Miller of Indiana, Erma Jay of Salem and Evelyn of Arizona and three grandchildren, Steve Agent of St. Charles, Ky, Joe Agent of Campbellsville, Ky and Shawn Hollis of Henderson, Ky and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 16, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hall officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Hanson, Ky.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the funeral home.
