Benjamin 'Benny' Douglas Bandy, 62, of Greenville, Ky

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Benjamin 'Benny' Douglas Bandy, 62, of Greenville, Ky went to be with his Lord and Savior on Jan. 8, 2014. He was born on Jan. 14, 1951.

Benny was a remarkable man who touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He was a retired coal miner, a member of UMWA, a cattle farmer and a member of the Cattlemen's Association. He was also an active member and Deacon of Second Baptist Church.

Proceeded in death by son Robert Eugene Bandy, Father, Adrian E. Bandy and Mother, Jean Dell Bandy. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sheila Kay Bullock-Bandy; two sons, Michael Shane (Tabitha) Bandy, and Benjamin Chad (Melanie) Bandy; five grandchildren, Shani, Trent, Madi Bandy, Reece and Mikah Bandy.

Receiving of friends will begin at 10 a.m. followed with a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. at Second Baptist Church in Greenville on Sat., Jan 11, 2014 .
