Carolyn Jones, 68, of Madisonville, Ky

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. - Carolyn Jones, 68, of Madisonville, Ky passed away at 4:05 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, In.

She was born on August 10, 1945 in Madisonville, Ky to the late Opal and Walter Bruce. She formerly was employed at General Electric in Madisonville. She was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Bruce and Ed Bruce; and her sister, Virginia Haynes.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Jones; her son, Mike (Suzie) Menser of Grand River, Ky; her daughter, Kelly (Peter) Gannott of Louisville, Ky; her sister, Patricia (John)Warren of Flowery Branch, GA; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with John Warren officiating. Burial will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Sunday at Harris Funeral Home.
