Deputies responding to the scene of the accident at 11:46 p.m. alleged witnesses told them a passenger in the 2004 Ford Focus got out of the automobile and was seen running into the woods before police arrived. Deputies with the aid of the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit located Michael J. Dillehay, 33, Owensboro, nearby where he had allegedly passed out.
