muhl co school 300MUHLENBERG, Ky. (5/5/14) — Head Start, in collaboration with the Muhlenberg County School System, is now taking applications for its free preschool for the 2014-15 school year.

Head Start serves 3, 4 and 5-year-olds who are not eligible for kindergarten. Eligibility for the program is subject to income (applicants who meet income guidelines receive free lunch), age or disability.

During the summer months contact the Head Start Office at (270) 754-7418.

The information required to complete an application are a Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, and Proof of Income.
